Rumors and leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S23 keep popping up and today we have some Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra promotional photos that have hit the internet ahead of its expected launch in February.
These images come courtesy 91 mobile phones (opens in a new tab) (by SamMobile (opens in a new tab)), a source with a decent record of information accuracy. These photos certainly look authentic, although of course we can’t consider them official yet.
Just a few days ago we heard about the “signature” colors in which these phones will be available, i.e. the colors that will be most often presented in promotional materials. Here we can actually see these shades: pink for Plus and green for Ultra.
More than phones
These promotional photos highlight Samsung’s growing ecosystem of products – the company is much more than phones or courses, and in these photos we can also see Samsung’s wireless earbuds and smartwatches.
The image of the Samsung Galaxy Plus shows how the design will change next year, with the same raised camera lenses as the Ultra (the standard model is also expected to follow suit). However, the Ultra phone itself won’t look any different than the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
So when will we actually see these smartphones arrive? The latest information on the matter suggests that the release date is scheduled for Wednesday, February 1, so there’s no long wait.
Analysis: Another great year for Samsung
Samsung already sells a huge number of smartphones, of course, but it always wants to sell more – and the Galaxy S23 phones (standard model, Plus model and Ultra model) will be a key part of this mission in 2023.
Although the company offers phones across the entire price range, it is the devices of the S series that set the standard. Keep in mind that these phones will be in direct competition with the iPhone 15 which is due out in September.
Thanks to a fresh leak, we also believe that Google could expand its flagship Pixel lineup to three or even four models over the next few years, which will once again give Galaxy S devices more competition in an already busy market.
From what we’ve heard so far, it looks like the Galaxy S23 phones will have the performance and camera upgrades to compete with the best phones of 2023 – although as you can see from the leaked images above, not much is likely to change in terms of aesthetics headphones.
